Join the D-backs Dugout: Why Our Jerseys Strike Out the Competition

We deliver professional-grade looks and performance with the freedom to make it uniquely yours, all backed by a 6-Month Manufacturer Warranty.
Built for the Heat: Quality That Endures
We don’t just make claims; we provide proof of our commitment to excellence. We know a D-backs jersey carries the passion of Arizona, and it should be built to withstand every thrilling moment and Valley summer.
- Premium Fabric Options: Choose your ideal game-day feel. Our 100D hole cloth (160GSM) is a classic, durable fabric offering excellent breathability, perfect for those games under the Chase Field roof or out in the sun. For a lighter, more modern aesthetic, our Mesh cloth (170GSM) provides an ultra-lightweight, athletic fit, engineered for maximum movement and comfort. Both fabrics utilize advanced moisture-wicking technology to keep you cool, dry, and comfortable.
- Vibrant, Unstoppable Graphics: The Diamondbacks’ unique Sedona Red, Sand, Black, Teal, and Purple palettes deserve to look sharp. We use industry-leading FullPrint+ Sublimation technology to ensure these iconic colors and logos are as bold and enduring as a Randy Johnson fastball. This process fuses the ink directly into the fibers of the fabric itself. Unlike screen-printing or heat-pressed tackle twill that can crack, peel, and fade, our sublimation graphics are permanent. The A-snake logo, the classic scripts, the City Connect design, your custom name, and numbers will remain vibrant wash after wash, season after season.
- Pro-Level Construction: Every jersey is built with precision and care. The Custom Nameplate Feature allows you to add any player name or personal branding for a clean, professional look, stitched securely for a premium finish. This is combined with reinforced, precision stitching at every seam and classic button-front styling, striking the perfect balance between authenticity and durability. This jersey is crafted to be a cherished part of your Diamondbacks collection.
Your Chase Field Dream Jersey: Limitless Customization
What truly sets an EZ Custom Jersey apart is the power we give you to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that reflects your connection to the D-backs. Official shops offer a limited selection; we offer limitless possibilities. This is where your vision comes to life. Mix and match elements across eras and styles:
- The “Gonzo Walk-Off” Classic: Relive the greatest moment in franchise history. Take the iconic 2001 home white pinstripe jersey (purple sleeves optional) and customize it with the World Series hero: “GONZALEZ #20”. Or honor the co-MVPs: “JOHNSON #51” or “SCHILLING #38”.
- The “Goldy” Era Sedona Red: Celebrate the franchise cornerstone. Take the Sedona Red alternate jersey prominent during Paul Goldschmidt’s prime and add the MVP runner-up’s “GOLDSCHMIDT #44”.
- The “Serpientes” City Connect: Imagine a D-backs legend on the unique sand-colored “Serpientes” City Connect jersey. Customize that look with “R. JOHNSON #51” for a striking combination.
- The “NL Champs” Modern: Embrace the surprising 2023 pennant winners. Take the current black alternate jersey and put the rookie sensation’s name on it: “CARROLL #7”.
Design Your Ultimate D-backs Jersey in 3 Easy Steps
Creating your perfect Diamondbacks jersey is simple, intuitive, and fun. We’ve streamlined the process into three easy steps.
Step 1: Select Your Jersey Style
Start by browsing our extensive collection of Arizona Diamondbacks styles. Use the filters on the page to narrow down your search. You can choose from Home (White), Away (Gray), the popular Alternate (Black), the bold Alternate (Sedona Red), or the unique City Connect (“Serpientes”). Or, dive into the team’s history by selecting a specific Throwback era, like the “1998 Inaugural Purple Pinstripes” or the “2001 World Series Champions.”
Step 2: Personalize It
This is where you make the jersey your own. Once you’ve selected a style, you’ll find the customization fields. This is your chance to honor a legend like “JOHNSON #51,” celebrate a current star like “CARROLL #7,” or create your own Arizona legacy with “YOUR NAME #YOURNUMBER.”
Step 3: Final Check and Order
Before finalizing, take a moment to review your order in the cart. This is a crucial step for a custom item. Double-check the spelling of the name and the accuracy of the number. Confirm that you have selected the correct jersey style and, most importantly, the correct size. Once you are 100% happy with your custom creation, proceed to our secure checkout.
Your Custom D-backs Jersey Questions, Answered
Ready to join the Snake Pit? Here are answers to common questions about crafting your perfect Diamondbacks jersey.
How long does delivery take for a custom jersey?
Since each jersey is custom-made to order, production and delivery time typically takes about 10–15 days. This ensures we craft your jersey with the care and quality D-backs fans expect. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your unique jersey is shipped.
What makes your jersey quality durable enough for D-backs fans?
Our quality stems from advanced dye-sublimation and premium fabrics (100D hole cloth or Mesh). The ink becomes part of the fabric, meaning the unique D-backs logos, scripts, and your custom details won’t crack, peel, or fade, standing strong through every game. Reinforced stitching ensures it holds up.
How should I care for my custom Diamondbacks jersey?
To keep the Sedona Red, Sand, and Teal looking vibrant, turn the jersey inside out and machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle. Hang drying is strongly recommended to preserve the fabric’s shape and graphic integrity. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, ironing the design, or dry cleaning.
Will the ‘A’ snake logo or my custom numbers peel off after washing?
Never. Our sublimation process permanently fuses these iconic elements into the fabric. Unlike jerseys with heat-pressed elements, the snake logo, scripts, numbers, and your custom name become part of the material itself, guaranteeing they won’t crack, peel, or fade, maintaining that distinct Diamondbacks look.
How do I choose the right size?
We highly recommend consulting our detailed size chart, available on each product page. Getting the size right is crucial for custom orders. You can read more at Size guide for exact chest and length measurements to ensure the perfect fit for representing the D-backs.
Desert Diamonds: A History of the Arizona Diamondbacks
The Arizona Diamondbacks are one of Major League Baseball’s youngest franchises, awarded an expansion team in 1995 and beginning play in 1998. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, the team’s name, “Diamondbacks,” references the Western Diamondback snake, native to the Sonoran Desert region. The original colors—Purple, Teal, Copper, and Black—were also chosen to reflect the unique palette of the Arizona landscape.
Playing their home games at Chase Field (originally Bank One Ballpark), known for its retractable roof and swimming pool beyond the right-center field wall, the Diamondbacks achieved success faster than any expansion team in North American professional sports history.
Led by veteran manager Buck Showalter initially, and then Bob Brenly, and powered by the dominant pitching duo of Randy Johnson (who won four consecutive Cy Young awards from 1999-2002) and Curt Schilling, along with clutch hitter Luis Gonzalez, the Diamondbacks stunned the baseball world. In only their fourth season (2001), they reached the World Series and defeated the three-time defending champion New York Yankees in a dramatic seven-game series, culminating in Gonzalez’s iconic walk-off single in Game 7. This remains the franchise’s first and only World Series championship.
Following their early peak, the team went through rebuilding phases. In 2007, the franchise underwent a major rebranding, shifting its primary colors to Sedona Red, Sand, and Black, colors inspired by the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. The team experienced renewed success in the 2010s, led by cornerstone first baseman Paul Goldschmidt.
After another rebuild, the Diamondbacks shocked baseball again in 2023. Entering the playoffs as the final Wild Card team, the young, energetic “Answerbacks,” led by rookie sensation Corbin Carroll and veteran Ketel Marte under manager Torey Lovullo, went on an improbable run, defeating the Brewers, Dodgers, and Phillies to capture their second National League pennant. Though they lost the World Series to the Texas Rangers, the season reignited the fanbase and established a promising new core.
Venomous Victories: Diamondbacks’ Notable Achievements
| Year(s) | Achievement | Notes |
| 2001 | World Series Champions | Fastest expansion team to win a World Series (4th season). Defeated the New York Yankees in 7 games on Luis Gonzalez’s walk-off single. Johnson/Schilling co-MVPs. |
| 2001 | National League Pennant | |
| 2023 | National League Pennant | Won as the final Wild Card seed, upsetting Brewers, Dodgers, Phillies. Lost World Series to the Texas Rangers. |
| 5x | NL West Division Champions | Showing periods of contention (1999, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2011). |
| 7x | Playoff Appearances | Reaching the postseason across different eras (1999, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2011, 2017 (WC), 2023 (WC)). |
Threads of the Sonoran: The Evolution of Diamondbacks Style
The Arizona Diamondbacks’ uniform history is a tale of bold choices reflecting the unique landscape and spirit of the desert Southwest. It begins with one of the most distinctive and colorful palettes in baseball history—Purple and Teal—often paired with pinstripes and unique sleeveless options. It then undergoes a dramatic transformation, embracing the earthy tones of Sedona Red and Sand, creating a look deeply tied to Arizona’s natural beauty. Recent years have seen further refinements, the introduction of popular black alternates, and a stunning City Connect design, resulting in a diverse and modern wardrobe for one of MLB’s youngest franchises.
1998–2006 — The Inaugural Purple & Teal Era
- Jersey types: Home (White Pinstripes/Vest), Away (Gray Pinstripes/Vest), Alternates (Black, Purple, Teal)
- Notable features: The iconic original look. Primary colors were Purple, Teal, Copper, and Black. Home whites and away grays featured purple pinstripes. The primary logo was the stylized ‘A’ formed by a diamondback snake. Alternate logos included the diamond ‘D’ snake on the sleeve. Sleeveless vests (home white, away gray) revealing purple undersleeves were extremely popular. Black, purple, and teal alternate jerseys were also used.
- Why it matters: This is the uniform of the franchise’s birth and its greatest triumph—the 2001 World Series Championship. It was worn by Hall of Famer Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling, and Luis Gonzalez. The unique color scheme made the D-backs instantly recognizable.

2007–2019 — The Sedona Red Era
- Jersey types: Home (White), Away (Gray), Alternates (Sedona Red, Black), Throwbacks (Purple)
- Notable features (Major Change): A complete rebrand, shifting the color palette. Sedona Red, Sand (beige), and Black became the primary colors, inspired by the Arizona landscape. Teal and Purple were retired from the main set but kept for throwbacks. The ‘A’ snake logo remained but was recolored. New scripts “D-backs” (home/red alt) and “Arizona” (away/black alt) were introduced. Pinstripes were removed.
- Why it matters: This look defined the team for over a decade. It represents the era of Paul Goldschmidt, Justin Upton, and Brandon Webb. It was worn during multiple division title seasons (2007, 2011).

2020–Present — Refined Look & City Connect
- Jersey types: Home (White), Away (Gray), Alternates (Black, Sedona Red, Teal), City Connect
- Notable features: Refined the Sedona Red look while re-incorporating past elements.
- Primary: Home whites (“D-backs” script) and Away grays (“Arizona” script) feature updated fonts and cleaner lines. Sublimated diamondback patterns were added to the base fabric of some jerseys (later removed).
- Teal Returns: A Teal alternate jersey was brought back as part of the regular rotation, honoring the original colors.
- Black Alternate: The black alternate (“D-backs” script) remains very popular.
- Sedona Red Alternate: Continues with the “D-backs” script.
- City Connect (“Serpientes”): Features a Sand colored base with script “Serpientes” (Spanish for snakes) in black, honoring Arizona’s Hispanic culture. Black caps with sand ‘A’ logo.
- Why it matters: This era represents a blend of the modern Sedona Red identity with popular elements from the past (Teal). It’s the uniform of the 2023 National League Pennant winners, led by Corbin Carroll and Ketel Marte. The City Connect is particularly well-received.
Snakeskin Legends: Jerseys of Diamondbacks Greats
An Arizona Diamondbacks jersey represents a legacy built remarkably fast, centered around dominant pitching, clutch hitting, and surprising championship runs. While a young franchise, the D-backs have retired the numbers of players whose impact was monumental, creating legends in the desert sun. From the intimidating presence of “The Big Unit” on the mound to the walk-off hero who delivered a World Series, the homegrown star who defined consistency, and the electrifying rookie who sparked a new pennant run, these jerseys tell the story of Arizona baseball.
| Player | Jersey No. | Position & Importance |
| Randy Johnson | 51 | Starting Pitcher. “The Big Unit.” Hall of Famer, won 4 consecutive Cy Young Awards (1999-2002) with Arizona. Co-MVP of the 2001 World Series. One of the most dominant and intimidating pitchers ever. His #51 is retired. |
| Luis Gonzalez | 20 | Outfielder. “Gonzo.” Franchise icon. Delivered the walk-off single to win the 2001 World Series. Team’s all-time leader in hits, doubles, and RBIs. Beloved for his clutch performance and community involvement. His #20 is retired. |
| Paul Goldschmidt | 44 | First Baseman. “Goldy.” Face of the franchise for the 2010s. Multiple All-Star, Gold Glove, Silver Slugger awards. 2013 & 2015 NL MVP runner-up. Known for his consistent excellence on both sides of the ball. (Likely future honor) |
| Brandon Webb | 17 | Starting Pitcher. 2006 NL Cy Young Award winner. Known for his devastating sinker. 3-time All-Star whose career was unfortunately cut short by injury. Dominated during the Sedona Red era. |
| Corbin Carroll | 7 | Outfielder. The face of the modern D-backs. 2023 NL Rookie of the Year (unanimous). Electrifying player with rare power-speed combination (25 HRs, 54 SBs in ’23). Key leader of the 2023 NL Pennant team. |
